I’m still a little scared of things beyond my control
Still a little scared of looking like a big fool
Still a little scared of matters unknown
Wishing some day they will be known

I’m still a little scared of things that are not even real
Still a little scared of the emotions I feel
Still a little scared of the future coming fast
Hoping that one can always live in the past

I’m still a little scared of the thoughts in my mind
Still a little scared of the events happening around
Still a little scared of the dawning of a new ray
Praying that life can be dealt with from day to day

I’m still a little scared of the feelings within
Still a little scared of thoughts spinning
Still a little scared that everything is just a dream
Waiting for the day that it will be real like it seem.
