No one really knew the depth of it
Carefully hidden underneath
Realization came like a gush of cold wind
Wished had the foresight of its end.

Hoped it was as clear as a crystal ball
It was indeed but was encased in walls
Difficult to see the other side
Extinguished in no time

Lessons learned after all these
Never walk someone else’s dreams
Or lose one’s self in the equation
Rise above the confusion

The sun intensifying its ray
Wake up at a dawning of a new day
