An all too familiar sight
Day in, day out
Waiting for that square to come out
Bring the present to a sudden halt.
Hide it… stare at it
The power’s in my hands
I can ignore or open the door
A world waiting to explore.
At times I know I should ignore
That all too familiar, blue, blinking light
But it is teasing and taunting
Clicking on just seems right.
I see again those three letters
That spells more than what it seem
A signal of a beginning
Its ending, no one is telling.
A slew of letters come barging
Overwhelming me with its might
Sometimes letters just trickle down
What’s that all about?
Emotions behind those words
I can only speculate
I can be wrong
Then I can also be right.
A slow and long parting
Or an abrupt end
The window disappears
As swiftly like it came.
